Ryan and his co-host Andrew Wells during their afternoon drive-time DJ shift on WJPZ-FM, otherwise known as Z89. They are on-air for two hours every Friday with entertaining talk breaks and playing new hit music.

The STEM Breakdown crew pictured above right after a live show. STEM Breakdown is the science and technology news show on Z89 where Ryan has served as an associate producer and is currently the lead host.

Ryan and Andrew interviewed singer Tamara on their afternoon drive time show as a part of the Z89 Amplify initiative. Amplify seeks to give student musicians and local artists a platform to share their music on the radio.

Syracuse University's student-run Top 40 station

WJPZ-FM, also known as Z89, is Syracuse University's student-run "Top 40" radio station.  Z89 broadcasts at 1000 watts on 89.1 FM.  Ryan serves as the Vice Preside of Operations for the station along with being an afternoon drive time DJ and host on the science and technology news show STEM Breakdown.  The station can be heard throughout the city of Syracuse and a large portion of Central New York.  It broadcasts hit music, news, and sports 24 hours/day.  You can listen to Z89 anywhere on the iHeartRadio website and app, check it out below.
